Long Pine Masonic Lodge No. 136 was created and organized on the 6th of October 1884, in the City of Long Pine, Nebraska.

The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Nebraska chartered the Lodge on the 25th of June 1885.

The ancient customs of dedication, consecration and constitution of the Long Pine Masonic Temple was performed on the 25th of April 1908.

Since then, Long Pine Lodge No. 136 has existed quietly in the Sandhills region of Nebraska receiving men of different religious faiths, political views, professional skills, personal persuasion, sports team following or operating system preference and uniting them as Brothers into the Ancient Fraternity of Freemasons thereby dwelling in tolerance, peace and harmony.
